Nike Zoom KD 5 Photo Black/Photo Blue – Release Date
LeBron James latest signature sneaker already seen a few colorways drop, and it had Kevin Durant fans wondering when will the KD 5 release. We got a look at a KD 5 model in a Photo Blue/Black combination a few weeks ago, and it looks like a release date has popped up. This new mid-top silhouette will rock a Thunder Away color blocking and will have an added Max Air at the heel as well.
Get ready because the Nike Zoom KD 5 Black/Photo Blue has a release date on December 8th. It’s also been said that the retail price will be set at $115. Stay tuned for further updates.
We got a look at catalog images of Kevin Durant’s next signature sneaker a few months ago, and now here is a first look at the actual shoe. The Nike Zoom KD V is now in a high-top sihouette with a few major changes such as removing the adaptive fit strap. It’ll now be replaced with Nike’s latest Dynamic Flywire and a Max Air heel unit. No word of an official release date as of yet, but be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates.
How do you feel about the new look of KD’s latest signature shoe? Is it a hit or miss so far? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
As of now, images of the Nike Zoom KD V have been few and far between. A few blurry picks here and there, but nothing concrete. Regardless of this little drawback, we have learned that the 5th signature for Kevin Durant will be hitting store shelves in December. The model will wear the Thunder Away colors and features a mostly black upper with photo blue and team orange used as accents. As many of you already know, the Nike Zoom KD V abandons the low top look on the Nike KD IV and instead trails higher at the ankle. What are your thoughts on the look at the new Nike Zoom KD V?
It was a hell of a run, but it's time to move on from the KD IV. Next up is the Nike KD V, which Kevin Durant debuted on the court yesterday in a preseason game against the Houston Rockets.
The obvious change is the height of the shoe, scaling up a bit from the previous two low-cut models. Highlighting Durant's need for a clean, timeless and performance-driven shoe, the KD V features Hyperfuse construction, an integrated stretch lacing system, Max Air heel cushioning and Zoom in the forefoot.
Getting the inline run underway will be the OKC-inspired colorway worn by Kevin last night. The shoe sports a black-based upper, contrasting orange logos. Photo Blue works the laces, inner lining heel counter and midsole, which sits atop an orange outsole to complete the look.
Look for the KD V to launch on Saturday, December 8. As you see, KD's signature line will surpass $100 retail for the first time with a $110 price tag on the V.
